Inspired by the elegance (and practicality) of the late 19th century, The Rambler is inspired by the sporrans worn in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. Handcrafted from bark tanned deerskin and carefully aged by hand with my own blend of oils, this leather holds the same beauty and resilience as that used more than a century ago. It is strong, water resistant, and made to endure a lifetime of wear.
Whether worn on daily errands or during a ramble through the hills, this sporran is designed to weather the elements in timeless style. The leather develops a rich patina with age, and every stitch is sewn by hand with waxed linen thread. The sporran is very supple, which makes it very comfortable to wear no matter the activity. The spacious interior and construction of the bag makes this our most practical sporran to date.
